"This is not about these women wanting things; it’s about men wanting to see them do things, and that takes something that really should be empowering — the idea that women can own their sexuality — and transforms it into yet another male fantasy. It takes away the actual power of the women and turns their “sexual liberation” into just another way for dudes to get off. And that is at least ten times as gross as regular cheesecake, minimum."

ataxiwardance:

“Aunt Tory” drops some serious truth bombs on her niece regarding “perverts” and sexual harassment.
Honest, simple and useful social / sex / feminist theory aimed towards children is, unfortunately, very rare. I highly recommend y’all give 2 minutes of your time to read this little comic.
The general lack of truly ethical sexual socialization for our generation is distressing but comics like this help me imagine how productive, easy and confident our generation can be when we talk to our children and loved ones about sexual conduct in society.

Vintage equal pay PSA featuring Batgirl. I remember watching this years ago. It’s still that good. (Via.)

Holy breaking and entering, Batman: it’s an equal federal pay law PSA that still applies!
